Security on High Alert in Sukkur & Larkana divisions on first Friday of Ramazan

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) On the blessed occasion of the first Friday of Ramazan, security was placed on high alert across the Sukkur and Larkana ranges.

According to a release issued by DIG office Sukkur here, the Plain clothes personnel were deployed around mosques, Imambargahs and open air prayer sites to ensure foolproof security during Friday congregations.

Additional police force was stationed at all districts of the range, with snap checking intensified to maintain law and order.

Authorities reiterated their commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, urging the public to report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station immediately.
