Security at Tariq Shaheed Checkpost reviewed

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) City Division, Muhammad Nauman, on Tuesday visited the Tariq Shaheed Checkpost to review security arrangements and assess operational preparedness.

During the visit, which he paid on the directives of District Police Officer, Ziauddin Ahmed, the SP met with the checkpost in-charge and deployed personnel, inspected the security measures in place, and reviewed the functionality of the CCTV surveillance system.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Suburb) Hafiz Muhammad Adnan briefed the SP on the overall security arrangements and the prevailing law and order situation at the checkpost.

Addressing the personnel, SP Muhammad Nauman directed them to remain vigilant and maintain a high level of alertness while performing their duties professionally to ensure the continued maintenance of peace and public safety.
