MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) Chief Commissioner of the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association Hafiz Tariq Mahmood Thursday visited the grave of martyred Lt Col Shehzada Gul Faraz Tanoli and paid tribute to his sacrifice, stating that the nation enjoys peace due to the bravery and dedication of Pakistan Army martyrs.
After laying a floral wreath at the grave, he told local media that soldiers remain away from their families to protect the country, enabling citizens to live in peace.
He said the martyr had shown exemplary character during his education at the Pakistan Scout Cadet College Batrasi and added that the institution was proud of his achievements.
The scout chief also announced his commitment to sponsor the education of the martyr’s two children, reaffirming that the sacrifices of martyrs would always be remembered.
On the occasion, officials of the scouts association, including Abdul Sattar Gul, Zahid Mahmood and Qazi Taimur, along with the college principal and senior faculty member Tauqeer-ul-Islam, were present.
Cadets of the college presented a salute, laid floral wreaths, met the bereaved family to express condolences and offered prayers for the departed soul. The martyr’s two young sons were also present.
