Schoolgirl killed in road accident

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) A nine-year-old schoolgirl was killed after an oil tanker hit her while she was crossing the road near Meer Hazar in Tehsil Jatoi.

According to Rescuer, the deceased,identified as Bakhtawar Bibi, daughter of Muhammad Yasir, resident of Meer Hazar, Tehsil Jatoi suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.

Rescue personnel covered the body with a sheet and on the insistence of the family, shifted to her home under police supervision.

Police have started further investigation into the incident.
