School in Lakki Marwat partially damaged in blast

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Unknown saboteurs carried out an explosion at a Government middle School in Sheri Khel area, in the jurisdiction of Shahbaz Khel Police Station in Lakki Marwat district on Friday.

The blast caused partial damage to the school building.

According to local police, the school was unoccupied at the time of the incident and no casualties or injuries were reported. The explosion, however, created fear and concern among residents of the area.

Initial reports indicate that several sections of the school building were affected by the blast, although the full extent of the damage has not yet been determined.

Following the incident, security measures in the area were tightened and authorities have launched an investigation to identify those responsible for the attack.
