SCCI to host WRAP awareness session

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) An awareness session on “Global Supply Chain Compliance and the Role of WRAP Certification”

will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Sheikh Muhammad Shafi Hall of the Sialkot Chamber

of Commerce & Industry (SCCI).

According to SCCI, the session aims to create awareness among industrialists and exporters

regarding international supply chain compliance standards and the importance of Worldwide

Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certification in global trade and export markets.

The session will be presided over by SCCI President Syed Ahtesham Mazhar while Chairman

of the Departmental Committee on Labor Laws Asad Bajwa will also participate in the event.

Country Representative of WRAP Pakistan Taj Husain, will deliver the keynote address and

highlight the significance of global compliance standards, ethical manufacturing practices,

labor rights, and social accountability in international supply chains.

Business leaders, exporters, industrialists, and stakeholders from various sectors are

expected to attend the awareness session.
