SCCI president visits MIDC&IST Sialkot

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), along with Sheikh Amir Mehmood, Executive Committee Member SCCI, and Brig Dr Shahid, Medical Specialist Imran Idrees Hospital Sialkot, visited Metal Industries Development Centre (MIDC) and Institute of Surgical Technology (IST) Sialkot.

The delegation visited all workshops of MIDC and were briefed about the Common Facility Services (CFS).

The delegation observed working operations of all machinery in Comprehensive Machine Shop, Forging workshop, Vaccum heat treatment workshop CBHT, and welding workshop.

The delegation also visited all classrooms of IST Sialkot, where they interacted with the students and appreciated their learning activities.

Ahtesham Mazhar expressed his support on the behalf of SCCI to circulate the Common Facility Services of MIDC to all industries of Sialkot to promote MIDC utilisation and strengthen industry-institution collaboration.
