SCCI President, PSIC MD discuss implementation of CM's Assan Karobar Finance Initiative

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Syed Ahtesham Mazhar held a meeting with Managing Director of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) Mubeen Elahi to discuss the implementation strategy of the Chief Minister Assan Karobar Finance Initiative aimed at supporting small and emerging businesses across Punjab.

During the meeting, both sides deliberated on the implementation framework, outreach strategy, and financing modalities of the initiative. The discussion focused on ensuring that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can easily access affordable credit facilities to expand their businesses and strengthen the industrial base of the province.

Ahtesham emphasized the vital role of SMEs in economic growth and employment generation. He stated that effective execution of the program would help entrepreneurs overcome financial barriers and encourage new business ventures.

Managing Director of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation Mubeen Elahi highlighted that the initiative is designed to provide accessible and low-cost financing opportunities to small industrial units and startups, enabling them to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

Both parties agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure maximum outreach and transparent implementation of the program so that entrepreneurs across Punjab can fully benefit from the scheme.
