SCCI holds awareness session

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Syed Ahtesham Mazhar attended an awareness session focused on the “Importance of International Certifications & Government Incentive/Grant Opportunities for SMEs.”

The session highlighted the growing significance of international certifications for exporters and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in enhancing product credibility, improving compliance with global standards, and expanding access to international markets. Participants were informed that internationally recognized certifications play a vital role in strengthening export competitiveness and building trust among foreign buyers.

During the session, detailed discussions were also held regarding various government support programs, incentives, and grant opportunities available for SMEs. The initiative aimed to create awareness among the business community about financial assistance schemes and development programs designed to support industrial growth, innovation, and export promotion.

The session was attended by members of the business community, exporters, and SME representatives, who appreciated the informative discussions and the efforts being made to guide businesses towards sustainable growth and international market integration.
