SCCI delegation meets SMEDA CEO to discuss SBCC roadmap

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) A delegation of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of SMEDA,Nadia Jehangir Seth at the SMEDA Head Office on Saturday to discuss the future roadmap of the Sialkot Business and Commerce Center (SBCC).

The delegation was led by SCCI President,Syed Ahtesham Mazhar and included former presidents Dr.Nouman Idris Butt and Abdul Ghafoor Malik.

According to details,the meeting focused on recommendations and planning for the proposed Sialkot Business and Commerce Center (SBCC),an initiative aimed at facilitating business development,trade promotion and industrial growth in the region.

The SCCI delegation presented proposals for the project’s future development and emphasized the need for institutional support to strengthen export-led growth and improve the business environment for small and medium enterprises.

SMEDA CEO Nadia Jehangir Seth appreciated the contributions of the Sialkot business community and reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at industrial development and SME promotion.

She assured the delegation of continued collaboration and said SMEDA would extend full support in refining and advancing proposals aligned with broader economic and export growth objectives.

The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to continue coordination between both sides and work towards effective implementation and future expansion of the SBCC initiative.
