SCCI announces seminar on taxation and economic reforms

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has announced an interactive session with renowned economic and taxation expert Syed Shabbar Zaidi to discuss taxation, economic reforms, export competitiveness, and Pakistan’s economic outlook.

According to SCCI, the session will be held on May 20, 2026 (Wednesday) at 2:15 PM at Sheikh Muhammad Shafi Hall, SCCI. The event aims to provide the business community with practical insights into Pakistan’s current economic situation and future economic direction.

Syed Shabbar Zaidi, former Chairman of the Federal board of Revenue (FBR), is widely recognized for his contributions toward fiscal reforms, economic documentation, and taxation policy in Pakistan.
