PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Saylani Welfare Trust, a humanitarian organization serving the poor and distressed people, in collaboration with Aziz JAN Trust, a philanthropic organization, will hold Iftar Dastarkhwans at four different locations in Peshawar.
“From the first of Ramzan, till last day of holy month, dastarkhwans will be held for providing food to the deserving faithful,” shared Aqleem Orakzai, Representative of Saylani Welfare Trust in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Aqleem informed that these Dastarkhwans will be held at Peshawar Saddar area, General Bus Stand on G.T road, Karkhano Market near Hayatabad and near Spin Jumat on Janrud road.
Arrangements will be made for iftari of around 1000 faithful at each site, providing essential eatable items, Aqleem told APP.
Apart from holding iftaris, both the organizations will also make arrangement for free Sehri at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH).
The decision has been taken to facilitate patients’ attendants, making it easier for them to access freshly cooked food during late-night hours.
It may be mentioned Saylani Welfare Trust had organized a `Grand Dastarkhawan’ in Peshawar during last Ramzan, arranging iftari for around 3000 deserving faithful.
The Karachi-based trust started operations in Peshawar in 2018 by providing free lunch and dinner facilities daily to poor people in Saddar and Haji Camp areas.
Apart from distribution of free food among poor strata, Saylani Welfare Trust has also joined hands with Aziz Jan Trust of Peshawar to equip youth with modern Information Technology (IT) skills to enable them to grow and stand on their feet.
`Mohsin and Huma Mass IT Training Institute (MHIT) Peshawar’, a joint venture of Saylani and Aziz Jan Trust is providing training to youth free of cost with the vision of equipping a new generation with current IT knowledge leading to generating self-employment through freelancing, Aqleem explained.
