Saudi Civil Defense intensifies camp inspections, emergency readiness in Arafat

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) General Directorate of Civil Defense has intensified field inspections and emergency operations across pilgrims’ camps in Arafat to ensure safety and rapid emergency response during the peak Hajj gathering.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Civil Defense teams are continuing round-the-clock operations aimed at strengthening preventive measures and maintaining high public safety standards during Hajj 1447 AH.

The field teams were carrying out extensive inspection visits to pilgrims’ camps to check the operational readiness of fire protection systems and emergency exits.

SPA told APP that the deployments are part of detailed operational plans prepared to enforce the highest safety standards and improve emergency preparedness across the holy sites.

Authorities said the operations are focused on protecting pilgrims, enhancing prevention measures and ensuring immediate response capabilities in case of emergencies.

The Saudi authorities continue implementing integrated safety and operational plans to facilitate pilgrims and maintain secure conditions during the Hajj season.
