Saudi Arabia Launches Four Official Digital Booking Channels for Global Umrah Pilgrims

RIYADH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched integrated digital services for the new Umrah season to facilitate pilgrims arriving from across the globe.

Under the newly announced guidelines, visitors can now book their travel arrangements and permits with full legal protection and peace of mind through four official channels.

These verified pathways include the 'Nusuk Umrah' portal, approved travel agents, certified online travel platforms, and the official 'Nusuk' smart application.

According to a statement shared by the Ministry on its official X account, pilgrims can directly visit the official website (umrah.nusuk.sa) to select and secure their preferred Umrah packages through a fast and transparent electronic process. For individuals who prefer traditional booking methods, the Ministry has authorized the use of licensed travel agents who are formally registered and verified in the pilgrims' respective home countries.

Additionally, in line with modern travel trends, visitors have the option to utilize approved international online travel agencies and websites to book flights, hotel accommodations, and related services.

The Ministry emphasized that downloading and utilizing the 'Nusuk' smart application is mandatory for all pilgrims upon their arrival in Makkah and Madinah. This digital platform is strictly required to secure official permits for performing Umrah at the Grand Mosque, as well as for scheduling prayers and visitation within the Rawdah ash-Sharifah at the Prophet’s Mosque.

To ensure a seamless spiritual journey, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has also released a comprehensive "Umrah and Ziyarah Guide" via a digital link and QR code, helping pilgrims easily navigate travel regulations and performance rituals.
