RIYADH: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 18th, 2026) The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced key dates for the upcoming Umrah season, including visa issuance, entry timelines and final departure deadlines for pilgrims.
The ministry said that Umrah pilgrims will be permitted to enter Makkah from 15 Dhul Hijjah 1448 AH, while the issuance of Umrah visas will begin on 31 May 2026.
Officials said that permits for performing Umrah will be available through the Nusuk application starting 1 June 2026, enabling digital registration and streamlined services for pilgrims.
The ministry further stated that the last date for issuing Umrah visas has been set as 1 Shawwal 1448 AH (9 March 2027), while the final date for pilgrims’ entry into Saudi Arabia will be 15 Shawwal 1448 AH (23 March 2027).
<?php /*?> <?php */?>It added that pilgrims must exit the Kingdom by 30 Shawwal 1448 AH (7 April 2027), marking the conclusion of the Umrah season timeline.
Saudi authorities have advised intending pilgrims to complete all registration requirements and ensure that travel documents are valid and up to date in order to avoid any inconvenience during their journey.
The ministry said the structured schedule has been introduced to ensure smooth management of pilgrim flows and to facilitate better organisation of services throughout the Umrah season.
