BAIKER, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, paid a one-day visit to Baiker in Upper Dera Bugti, where he reviewed public issues, ongoing development projects, and the provision of basic facilities.

Former Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and former provincial minister Khalid Langau accompanied him during the visit.

As part of his tour, the Chief Minister inspected the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Memorial Hospital, visiting various departments, wards, and medical facilities.

He inquired about the services being provided and received a detailed briefing from the hospital administration regarding available medical facilities, supply of medicines, equipment, workforce, and challenges faced by the institution.

The briefing also highlighted ongoing initiatives to improve healthcare, introduce modern facilities, and ensure better treatment for patients.

Commending the hospital administration’s performance, CM Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that providing quality and timely healthcare to citizens is the government’s top priority.

He warned that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated. He further said that the provincial government is taking practical and long-term measures to strengthen the health sector, ensuring that modern medical facilities are accessible to citizens, particularly those living in remote areas.

Sarfraz Bugti stressed that delivering healthcare, education, and other basic services in Balochistan’s underdeveloped and far-flung regions is the government’s responsibility. He directed officials to guarantee the availability of medicines, attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, and maintenance of service standards in hospitals.

Highlighting the government’s broader vision, the Chief Minister said that Balochistan is committed to public welfare, timely completion of development projects, and modernizing the healthcare system.

These efforts, he noted, aim to improve facilities and bring a significant enhancement in the quality of life for the people of the province.
