Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in Pakistan on April 28. These mid-range smartphones come with improvements in design, performance, cameras, and software support as part of the Galaxy A series.
Both phones have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and better gaming experience.
The Galaxy A57 has a slimmer metal body, measuring 6.9mm in thickness and weighing 179 grams. It also comes with an IP68 rating, making it resistant to dust and water. It will be available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac colors.
The Galaxy A37 will be available in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, and Awesome White.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 processor built on a 4nm process, along with the Xclipse 550 GPU and an improved NPU rated at 19.6 TOPS. It also has a 13% larger vapor chamber for better cooling. The Galaxy A37 uses the Exynos 1480 chipset, which was earlier used in the Galaxy A55.
Both devices run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, and Samsung is offering six years of Android updates and security support. The Galaxy A57 also includes AI-based features such as Best Face, Auto Trim, improved Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription.
For cameras, both phones have a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and improved Nightography for better low-light photos and videos. On the front, both feature a 12MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A57 also includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the Galaxy A37 has an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Both phones include a 5MP macro camera.
They are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0, which can charge the phone from 0 to 60% in around 30 minutes.
In Pakistan, the Galaxy A37 starts at Rs 149,999 for the 256GB storage and 8GB RAM model. The Galaxy A57 is priced at Rs 166,999 for the same configuration. The higher variants of the Galaxy A57 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage are priced at Rs 184,999, while the 512GB storage with 12GB RAM version is also available at a higher price.
