SALU Khairpur Holds Solidarity Rally for Pakistan Armed Forces

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Tuesday organized a Solidarity Rally in support of Pakistan’s Armed Forces at its campus. Led by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi, along with Deans and department heads, the event demonstrated strong institutional unity and national commitment.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Jatoi emphasized national solidarity and acknowledged sacrifices by the Armed Forces for Pakistan’s defense and stability, appreciating Dr. Ali Raza Lashari’s efforts in promoting patriotism among youth.

Sarfraz Korejo highlighted universities’ role in fostering patriotism and civic responsibility, while Dr.

 Inayat Bhatti presented the vote of thanks.

Faculty attendees included Prof Dr Mehon Khan Laghari, Prof Dr Masiullah Jatoi, Prof Dr Javed Ujjan, Dr Sumya Syed, Dr Zahid Sahto, Dr Hira Rani Shaikh and Dr Aijaz Shaikh, alongside numerous faculty and students.

The rally concluded with prayers for Pakistan’s prosperity, peace, and security, led by Prof Dr Mushtaque Ahmed Jakhrani, reaffirming the university’s commitment to stand united with the nation’s defenders.
