RTA Secretary Attock Honoured for Excellence at Provincial Training

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Secretary Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Attock, Zaheer Ahmed Khan, has been awarded a shield and certificate in recognition of his professional excellence, integrity, and distinguished services during a two-day capacity-building training organised by the Punjab Transport Department.

The training programme, held on April 20 and 21, 2026, brought together transport officials from across Punjab to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery. Participants underwent specialised sessions aimed at strengthening institutional performance and governance standards.

At the concluding ceremony, the award was presented by Salman Majeed, Director Planning and Information Technology, Transport Department Lahore, acknowledging Mr Khan’s notable contributions and commitment to the department’s objectives.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khan described the recognition as a reflection of collective effort and dedication to public service. He expressed gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Attock, Rao Atif Raza, for his guidance and support, adding that Attock’s current fifth position in achieving provincial revenue targets underscores the district’s strong performance and pursuit of excellence.
