FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) Cheques worth Rs 10 million were distributed among 100 deserving families under “Apni-Chat, Apna-Ghar’ programme by an NGO Akhuwat at Commissioner office here on Friday.
The Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen gave away the cheques and termed the program, a revolutionary step of the CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, which materialized the dream of homeless families for ‘Apni Chat’.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>She appreciated the efforts of the ‘Akhuwat’ for providing interest free loans (Qarz-e-Hasna) to poor families and destitute.
The Commissioner said that it is our collective responsibility to extend financial support to the weak segment of the society.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Tanveer Murtaza, Zonal Manager Khalid Mahmood, Waheed Khalid Ramay and others were present on the occasion.
