RPO seeks faster investigation, reprimands SHOs over negligence

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera directed officers to accelerate investigations

into heinous cases in addition to ensuring immediate arrest of proclaimed offenders.

He issued these directions while chairing a meeting at Regional Police Office to review

performance and overall security situation of Jaranwala division.

SP Jaranwala Division, SDPOs Jaranwala and Khurarianwala, and SHOs of the division

attended the session.

The RPO conducted a detailed review of investigations into serious cases and sought a

comprehensive briefing on progress regarding the arrest of proclaimed offenders.

During meeting, the RPO reprimanded certain SHOs over unsatisfactory performance,

negligence and unprofessional attitude while SHO Satiana received a show-cause

notice for poor performance.
