RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jun, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at Kallar Syedan Police Station to address public complaints and grievances.
During the session, the RPO issued instructions to the relevant officers to take immediate legal action on citizens’ applications and submit reports within the prescribed timeframe.
He emphasized that the purpose of open courts is to bridge the gap between the public and the police while ensuring the timely resolution of citizens’ issues.
Later, RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa chaired a crime review meeting at Kallar Syedan Police Station. The meeting was attended by the SP Saddar Division, SDPO Kahuta Circle, and other concerned police officers.
During the meeting, the RPO reviewed the prevailing crime situation, progress in ongoing investigations, and actions taken against proclaimed offenders, habitual criminals, drug traffickers, and other criminal elements.
He directed officers to ensure timely and merit-based investigations of serious cases and continue special campaigns for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and court absconders.

The RPO stressed the need to further strengthen the patrolling system and maintain continuous monitoring of crime hotspots. He reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property must be ensured at all costs and that a zero-tolerance policy against criminal elements should be strictly enforced.
Babar Sarfraz Alpa also warned that any rude, inhumane, or unlawful behavior towards citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
At the end of the meeting, the RPO visited Kallar Syedan Police Station and inspected the station building, front desk, lock-up, and other administrative arrangements. He directed officials to further improve cleanliness, discipline, and service delivery standards at the police station.
The RPO also inspected the newly constructed building of Kallar Syedan Police Station and issued necessary instructions regarding its operational readiness.
