RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region Babar Sarfraz Alpa visited Civil Lines and Women police stations Rawalpindi and inspected the overall functioning, facilities, and administrative arrangements of both stations.
During the visit, the RPO reviewed the condition of station buildings, front desks, muharrar offices, lock-ups, official records, cleanliness arrangements, security measures, and other related matters.
SDPO Civil Lines Circle and other relevant police officials were also present on the occasion.
The concerned officers briefed RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa about facilities being provided to citizens, investigation procedures, front desk operations, record maintenance, and other administrative affairs.
Speaking to police officers and personnel, the RPO emphasized that police stations are the main source for citizens to seek justice.
He directed officials to treat visitors with respect, courtesy, and professionalism and ensure that every complaint is heard attentively and addressed promptly in accordance with the law.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He instructed officers to conduct transparent and merit-based investigations of all complaints and cases, complete pending investigations within the stipulated time, adopt modern investigation techniques, avoid poor-quality investigations, and submit strong challans based on evidence to courts to ensure legal action against offenders.
RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa further directed police officials to continue strict action against proclaimed offenders, court absconders, criminal elements, and drug peddlers.
He also called for strengthening the patrolling system to prevent crime and ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
He stated that providing immediate justice, transparent policing, and a public-friendly environment in Rawalpindi Region is the top priority of the police department and no negligence or failure in this regard would be tolerated.
