RPO orders foolproof security measures for Youm-e-Ali processions

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera on Tuesday reviewed security arrangements

for Youm-e-Ali (RA) and visited procession routes in Faisalabad, directing the officials to ensure

foolproof security and effective traffic management plan.

According to Regional Police Spokesperson Rizwan Bhatti, the RPO inspected key procession routes and security arrangements in the city.

During visit, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Faisalabad Rana Nasir Javed and other officers were also present on the occasion.

The RPO reviewed installations of CCTV cameras and walk-through gates in addition to checking arrangements along the routes of mourning processions to ensure strict monitoring and smooth movement.

He directed the police officials to deploy additional police personnel at sensitive locations, imam bargahs and along procession routes to maintain law & order.

The RPO also ordered for preparation of a comprehensive traffic plan to facilitate the commuters while ensuring uninterrupted security arrangements during mourning processions.
