RPO inaugurated new smart police station

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan inaugurated new smart police station building at Sadar Bhalwal police station here on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesman, the old buildings of police stations are being converted into new buildings equipped with modern facilities, while policing have been converted into modern lines while these newly constructed police stations have been named Smart Police Stations, in which all the necessary facilities have been provided for the convenience of public.

The spokesman further said that Bhalwal Sadar Police Station covers about forty towns and villages, while more than two lakh citizens living in them will be able to benefit from these facilities. DPO Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf who was also present on the occasion informed about the facilities provided in the new building. RPO Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan inspected different parts of the building and while giving instructions to the posted SHO and other staff, to ensure standard kind of behaviour while dealing public matters to boost the high moral of the police.
