MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) The Muzaffargarh Police busted a robbery gang within two hours of a house robbery incident and recovered cash and gold ornaments worth Rs1.6 million, which were later handed over to the complainant.
According to a police spokesperson, the operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO Allah Yar Saifi. SHO Saddar Alipur Muzammal Hussain, along with Assistant Sub-Inspector Iftikhar Nazir and Constable Muhammad Shehbaz, led the police team in the successful operation against the dacoit gang.
The spokesperson said that the armed robbers had entered a house in village Azmat Pur, situated in the jurisdiction of Saddar Alipur police station, and looted Rs1.2 million in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs400,000 at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.
Following a call made to the police helpline 15, the police responded promptly and formed special teams while setting up pickets in different areas.

Police recovered the looted cash and gold ornaments worth a total of Rs1.6 million from the accused on the spot.
District Police Officer Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah handed over the recovered valuables to the complainant, who thanked the police officers and garlanded them in appreciation of their efforts.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah said that protection of life and property of citizens remained the top priority of Muzaffargarh Police and the force was committed to ensuring public safety at all times.
In recognition of outstanding performance, the DPO awarded a letter of appreciation to SDPO Allah Yar Saifi, while commendation certificates and cash rewards were distributed among SHO Muzammal Hussain and other police officials involved in the operation.
