'Responsible states work within frameworks rather than abondoning' them: Dar on Indus Waters Treaty

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said on Thursday that, regarding the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), responsible states act “within established legal frameworks” rather than abandoning them.

“The treaty envisages the peaceful resolution of disputes within its own framework,” he said in a recorded keynote address at a seminar on water resources, also noting that Pakistan had previously voiced concerns over “certain actions by India” under the treaty.
