Rescue 1122 staff provide services in 1914 emergencies during two days of Eid

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Rescue 1122 personnel's provided services in 1914 emergencies during the two days of Eid-ul-Fitr in the province.

According to a statement issued here by Director General Rescue 1122 KP, Shah Fahad, leaves of Rescue staff were cancelled during Eid-ul-Fitr and they have been providing services across the province.

Giving details of 1914 emergencies, he said 484 were traffic accidents occurred across the province, 1261 medical, 62 minor and major fires, 33 fights/crimes, 5 drownings and 50 other incidents.

Around 40 people died during various incidents across the province while 1993 people were provided medical assistance during various incidents across the province.

Director General Rescue 1122 visited different districts on Eid-ul-Fitr, personally met with the staff and distributed sweets among them.
