Rescue 1122 saves industrial warehouse from major fire damage

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Two separate fire incidents were successfully controlled by Rescue 1122 teams in Dera Ismail Khan, preventing major financial losses and protecting nearby properties, officials said on Sunday.

According to Rescue 1122, the first fire erupted suddenly at a wood-working factory located in the Zafar Abad Industrial Zone. Soon after receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 fire teams rushed to the site and launched firefighting operations to contain the blaze.

Rescue officials said the firefighters managed to bring the fire under control promptly, saving the warehouse from further destruction and stopping the flames from spreading to adjacent buildings and industrial units.

In another incident on Din Pur Road, a fire broke out at “Marhaba Cushion Maker,” where sofa frames and other materials caught fire due to unknown reasons. Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly and extinguished the blaze after professional firefighting efforts.

Rescue 1122 urged citizens and business owners to adopt preventive safety measures, including regular inspection of electrical wiring and proper handling of flammable materials.
