Rescue 1122 saves heatstroke victim

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) A prompt and professionally executed rescue operation by Rescue 1122 saved the life of a

man who suffered suspected heatstroke and lost consciousness while cleaning the rooftop of

a government school in Jaranwala.

Rescue 1122 spokesman said on Tuesday that the emergency control room received a call reporting that a man had collapsed unconscious on the rooftop of a government high school Jaranwala.

Responding immediately, Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and launched an emergency rescue operation.

Rescue 1122 provided first aid to the patient at the site and assessed his condition before initiating a safe evacuation from the rooftop.

Owing to the difficult access, the team used an Aerial Platform Facility (APF) to bring the patient down safely without causing further risk.

Rescue officials identified the patient as 22-year-old Hasnain of Chak No.240-GB and he lost consciousness due to intense heat while cleaning the roof.

After being stabilized at the scene, the patient was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Jaranwala for further medical treatment, the spokesman added.

Rescue 1122 official urged the people to take precautionary measures during the prevailing hot weather and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
