Rescue 1122 responds to 131 emergencies in a week

LOWER DIR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Rescue 1122 Lower Dir responded to 131 emergencies during the past week and provided timely assistance to 121 injured persons and patients across the district.

According to district emergency official, the emergencies included 62 medical cases, four road traffic accidents, three incidents involving gunshot injuries and clashes, one fire incident, and eight recovery operations, besides other emergency situations.

The rescue service also shifted 53 patients to various hospitals within and outside the district for further medical treatment.

District Emergency Officer Sanaullah said Rescue 1122 teams remained fully active round-the-clock to ensure prompt response to emergencies and provide relief services to the public.
