Rescue 1122 fully alert to tackle monsoon emergencies in DIKhan

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan participated in an important meeting held at the office of the Assistant Commissioner Kulachi to review preparedness measures for the upcoming Monsoon 2026 season.

The meeting was attended by officials of Rescue 1122 under the supervision of the District Emergency Officer. Participants discussed potential flood situations, rain-related emergencies, available resources, and the emergency response plan to effectively deal with any untoward incidents during the monsoon season.

During the meeting, the Rescue 1122 team briefed participants on public safety measures, identification of vulnerable locations, timely rescue operations, and coordination mechanisms with relevant departments to ensure a swift and effective response in emergencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Kulachi emphasized the importance of close coordination among all concerned departments and directed officials to remain vigilant and ensure timely preventive measures during the monsoon period.
