Rescue 1122 emergency services to continue uninterrupted during Eid-ul-Fitr

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completed special arrangements to provide timely and effective emergency facilities to the public on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

On the instructions of Director General Rescue 1122, Shah Fahad, rescue personnel across the province will perform their duties during the Eid holidays and remain fully alert to deal with all kinds of emergencies.

According to Director General Shah Fahad, the control room of Rescue 1122 will remain active 24 hours during Eid days, so that immediate help can be provided in case of any emergency.

All operational vehicles and trained staff will be available at all times.

He said that special measures have been taken in view of the rush at tourist destinations during Eid-ul-Fitr.

Temporary rescue camps will be set up at different places for the convenience and safety of tourists, while rescue teams will be deployed in sensitive areas including rivers, lakes and dams.

Finally, he appealed to citizens to take precautionary measures during the Eid festivities and to immediately report any emergency to the helpline 1122, so that timely assistance can be ensured.
