Rawalpindi Horticulture Agency steps up park beautification drive during Ramazan

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) The Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) has intensified efforts to beautify parks across the city and ensure upkeep of flowers and plants during the holy month of Ramazan.

According to the HAR spokesman, measures have been taken to enhance the appearance and maintenance of Dhok Munshi Park in the Potwar sector.

Colourful seasonal flowers and well-maintained plants are presenting a vibrant spring-like scene, drawing the attention of visitors, he said.

On the directives of the Managing Director, Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, special teams have been deployed to carry out horticultural and cleanliness activities in various parks, and the staff of the agency is performing horticultural duties with dedication to preserve the park’s aesthetic appeal and provide a pleasant environment for citizens.

He said all parks in Rawalpindi would be decorated and maintained to offer the best possible recreational facilities to residents during Ramazan.
