Ramesh Arora arranges Inter-Faith Iftar dinner

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) An Interfaith Iftar dinner was hosted in Lahore by Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora, bringing together provincial ministers, members of the Punjab Assembly, political and social personalities, as well as religious leaders from different faiths and members of civil society.

He said that the Iftar gathering is a beautiful example of interfaith harmony and brotherhood.

He said that the holy month of Ramadan conveys a message of love, tolerance, and humanity.

He further stated that all religions in Pakistan enjoy complete freedom and respect, and the coming together of followers of different faiths reflects the true beauty and diversity of Pakistan.

The provincial minister added that promoting interfaith harmony is among the priorities of the Punjab government, and such events play an important role in strengthening mutual respect and unity in society.
