Ramazan Dastarkhwan launched across district under “Nigehban Ramazan Package”

On the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Ramazan Dastarkhwan has been launched across the district under the “Nigehban Ramazan Package” to facilitate deserving and fasting individuals during the holy month of Ramazan

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) On the special directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Ramazan Dastarkhwan has been launched across the district under the “Nigehban Ramazan Package” to facilitate deserving and fasting individuals during the holy month of Ramazan.

According to the spokesperson for the DC's office, the first Iftar arrangement was organized here on Thursday, marking the formal commencement of the initiative.

Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry visited the General Bus Stand, where a Dastarkhwan has been set up, and shared Iftar with travelers and local citizens.

During the visit, the DC reviewed the arrangements and interacted with attendees to gather feedback regarding the facilities provided.

He stated that the district administration is ensuring the provision of quality and timely meals at all Iftar points so that fasting individuals do not face any inconvenience.

He directed the concerned officers to pay special attention to cleanliness, discipline, and food quality standards at all Dastarkhwan locations.

Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry said that free Iftar meals will be provided daily to deserving individuals and travelers throughout the month of Ramazan under the Ramazan Dastarkhwan initiative.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Abu Bakr, Assistant Commissioner, Secretary RTA, and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
