Ramazan Dastarkhwan in Kohat serves rozedars

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz visited the Ramazan Dastarkhwan at Women and Children Park on Tuesday, reviewing arrangements for fasting citizens and commending the organizers for a well-managed and orderly setup. He expressed satisfaction over the overall arrangement, while emphasizing the importance of providing hygienic and timely Iftar meals to Rozedars.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected meal quality, cleanliness, and distribution processes, therefore ensuring that adequate food was being served to all participants. He specifically praised the efforts of Karwan-e-Amal for their dedication and commitment to serving the community, as such initiatives significantly ease the challenges faced by less privileged citizens during the holy month.

He further noted that welfare activities like the Ramazan Dastarkhwan foster social harmony, compassion, and brotherhood, so that the community can come together in mutual respect and solidarity. The Deputy Commissioner described such initiatives as exemplary models of civic engagement and public service.

Reaffirming the administration’s support, he stated that the district authorities will continue to encourage and facilitate all public-welfare programs, thus ensuring that charitable efforts thrive during Ramazan and beyond, benefiting deserving individuals across Kohat.
