Ramazan begins with devotion, community spirit across northern Sindh

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) With the commencement of the holy month of Ramazan, mosques throughout northern Sindh have created a peaceful and sacred environment for worshippers to offer their prayers with serenity and devotion.

“We are making every effort to provide worshippers with a conducive atmosphere to pray with tranquility and sanctity,” said an administrative officer of a local mosque on Wednesday.

Special arrangements for Sehri and Iftar have been made in many mosques. We have organized facilities for both Sehri and Iftar to accommodate worshippers, said the Imam of Allah Wali Masjid.

Special prayers are being offered for the prosperity, integrity, and well-being of the country and its people, added the Imam of Ali (RA) Mosque.

Mosques and charitable organizations across the region are also arranging free Iftar tables for the underprivileged.
