'Ramadan gives a message of patience, compassion and unity'

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Punjab Auqaf Secretary Dr Ehsan Bhutta has said that the holy month of Ramadan gives a practical

message of patience, compassion, discipline and unity.

He said this while attending a collective Iftar dinner organized by

Al-Sheikh Azad Welfare Foundation at the historic Badshahi Mosque, said a handout issued here on Sunday.

Dr Ehsan Bhutta said, "Punjab Auqaf department is continuously striving to serve visitors and ensure the provision of the best facilities at religious sites."

He reviewed the arrangements made at the Mosque and expressed satisfaction over them.

The event was hosted by Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

Khateeb of Badshahi Mosque Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad highlighted the virtues of Ramadan and the importance of unity within the Muslim Ummah.

Later, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad led a special collective prayer for the safety, stability, and prosperity of the country and the nation.

Administrator of Badshahi Mosque, Shahid Hameed Warraich, along with other officials and religious scholars, also attended the ceremony.
