HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) A rally in support of Pakistan's Armed Forces was held at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) on Tuesday, proceeding from A.M Shaikh Hall to the Faculty of Production. The rally was led by the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Altaf Ali Siyal and was attended by the registrar, faculty members, officers, employees and a large number of students.
Addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Altaf Ali Siyal, said that Pakistan's Armed Forces had always given a befitting response to the country’s enemies. He stated that Pakistan’s defence was in strong hands, ensuring that the country’s land, air and sea borders remained fully secure.
He added that whoever cast an evil eye on Pakistan, whether India or its proxies, had been effectively countered by the armed forces through strength, bravery and effective strategy, and that the armed forces were even now engaged in destroying enemy hideouts.
He further remarked that modern wars were increasingly being fought through technology, urging the youth to gain expertise in technological fields so they could stand shoulder to shoulder with the country’s brave armed forces.
On the occasion, Incharge of the Student-Teacher Engagement Program, Prof Dr Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar said that from safeguarding the borders to combating terrorism, Pakistan's Armed Forces had successfully thwarted every hostile move and defended the nation. He said that every citizen of the country stood united with the armed forces and reaffirmed their commitment to support Pakistan’s armed forces at every step and pray for the safety and success of the nation and its brave soldiers.
Registrar Ghulam Mohiuddin Qureshi, Deans of various faculties, including Dr Aijaz Ali Knonharo, Prof Dr Inayatullah Rajpar, Dr Abdul Mubeen Lodhi, Dr Munir Mangrio and Dr Ghiyasuddin Shah, Director Finance Syed Fida Hussain Shah, Director sports Anwar Hussain Khanzada, Prof Dr Ahmed Naqi Shah, Fahad Nazeer Khoso, Nusrat Ali Chandio, along with a large number of teachers, officers, employees and students participated in the rally.
