Quetta administration reviews cleanliness, traffic, encroachment issues

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, chaired a meeting to review the city’s cleanliness system, traffic management, anti-encroachment operations, and improvement of civic facilities.

Mehrullah Badini reiterated that the district administration was committed to improving urban management and providing better facilities to the people of Quetta. The meeting was attended by all Assistant Commissioners, officials from the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, Traffic Police, QDP, Police, and other relevant departments.

During the session, participants conducted a detailed review of ongoing measures to make the sanitation system more effective, improve traffic flow, and eliminate illegal encroachments.

Deputy Commissioner, Mehrullah Badini directed all departments to work in close coordination to provide citizens with a clean, organized, and pleasant environment.

He emphasized that anti-encroachment operations must continue without discrimination to ensure smooth traffic movement and reduce public inconvenience. The meeting also agreed to intensify cleanliness campaigns in different parts of the city, strengthen traffic discipline, and take stricter action against illegal parking.

Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini instructed officials to ensure their field presence for immediate resolution of civic issues and to conduct daily performance reviews.
