Punjab Police reshuffle two SSPs, 13 SPs across province

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jul, 2026) Punjab Police on Monday issued transfer and posting orders for two senior superintendents of police (SSPs) and 13 superintendents of police (SPs) across the province with immediate effect.

According to an official notification issued by Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abdul Kareem, Zahid Nawaz was transferred from AIG Operations, Central Police Office (CPO), Punjab, Lahore, and posted as SSP, Police school of Intelligence, Lahore.

Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, who was awaiting posting, was appointed as AIG Operations, CPO Punjab, Lahore, while Saad Afridi was posted as SP Investigation, Nankana Sahib. Shaukat Ali Sheikh was transferred and appointed as Additional Director, Central-I, SPU Punjab, Lahore, whereas Muhammad Nauman Zafar was posted as Additional SP Sadar Division, Multan. Muhammad Munir Badar was transferred as SP Investigation, Lodhran, while Zafar Javed Malik was posted as SP Operations-DIC3, Okara District.

Hassan Raza was appointed SSP RIB Multan Region, and Muhammad Essa Khan was posted as Deputy Director Administration, Elite Police Force, Punjab.

Hassan Afzal was transferred to the Central Police Office, Punjab, Lahore.

According to the notification, Farrukh Javed was posted as SP Investigation, Bahawalpur, while Syed Jamshaid Ali was transferred as Battalion Commander (3), Punjab Constabulary, Multan.

Jahandad Akram was appointed SP CCD Dera Ghazi Khan Region, while Aadil Aamir was directed to report to the Central Police Office, Punjab, Lahore.

Raza Ullah Khan was transferred as SP Operations-DIC3, Jhang District, and was additionally assigned to oversee the duties of SSP Operations IC3 Faisalabad Region until further orders.

The transfers and postings have been ordered with immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders, the notification added.
