Punjab officials direct para force to tighten market checks in Attock

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) The district administration in Attock on Thursday directed the Para Force to intensify market inspections and strictly enforce price control measures, stressing transparent implementation of government policies to provide maximum relief to the public.

The directives were issued during a meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Aneel Saeed at the Deputy Commissioner's Office. The meeting was attended by Para Force officers and representatives of relevant government departments.

Addressing the participants, Aneel Saeed said the Para Force must perform its duties in accordance with the directives of the Punjab government and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, while adhering to the law and established regulations.

He instructed officers to discharge their responsibilities within their respective jurisdictions in a transparent, impartial, and effective manner to ensure that no citizen faces injustice or unfair treatment.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner also ordered continuous monitoring of market prices, official price lists, and the quality of essential commodities to curb profiteering and hoarding. Officials briefed the meeting on the Para Force's performance and ongoing initiatives, while departments were instructed to strengthen coordination to ensure government relief measures reach the public without discrimination.
