LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Bokhari has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui, Chairman of HUM tv.

Paying tribute to the late media leader on Friday, she said Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui was a dignified and highly capable personality whose professional services to the media industry would always be remembered. She acknowledged his valuable contributions and described his demise as a significant loss for the media fraternity.

The minister extended heartfelt condolences to Sultana Siddiqui on the death of her brother and prayed that may Allah Almighty grant the departed soul a high place in His mercy while giving the bereaved family strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.

Azma Bokhari added that in this hour of grief, the Government of Punjab and she personally stand with the mourning family and share their sorrow. She also prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks and for fortitude for the family during this difficult time.
