Punjab govt. ensures quality essentials at subsidized rates in Attock's ramzan bazaars

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) Attock district is witnessing well-managed and transparent Ramzan Bazaars, thanks to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's directives. Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza is overseeing the initiative, ensuring quality essentials at subsidized rates.

According APP correspondent, a delegation of local leaders and businesswomen visited the Ramzan Bazaar, inspecting stalls and interacting with shoppers.

They praised the administration's efforts, citing satisfaction over pricing and management. The bazaar offers flour, sugar, pulses, veggies, fruits, meat, and more at government-notified rates.

The former PML-N candidate for PP-3 and Chairman Health Committee Attock Malik Hameed Akbar Khan, District President PML-N Muhammad Saleem Shehzad emphasized the CM's vision: no price hikes during Ramadan.

They directed officials to monitor prices and quality daily, taking strict action against violators. The aim is to provide maximum relief to citizens.

The Attock Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry delegation lauded the "Nighaban Ramzan Bazaar" initiative, suggesting year-round arrangements. They appreciated the district administration's efforts, ensuring cleanliness, security, and amenities.

Citizens are urged to report any price violations, helping the administration ensure compliance. The Punjab government's commitment to public relief remains unwavering, with price control magistrates active in the field.
