Punjab governor condemns Bannu blasts

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Saturday strongly condemned the blasts in Bannu and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives.

In a statement, the governor prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed souls a place in the realm of His mercy and provide courage and patience to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.

He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blasts.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that terrorists targeting innocent citizens were enemies of humanity and peace. He stressed that such cowardly acts could not shake the resolve of the nation.

The Punjab Governor said that the entire nation stood united with the security forces in the fight against terrorism and expressed confidence that collective efforts would help eliminate the menace of terrorism.
