Punjab Cabinet approves delimitation of LG bodies

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) The Punjab Cabinet on Monday approved the rules for delimitation of local government bodies.

The Election Commission will now carry out the delimitation work, how will the papers be collected and how will the appeal be made?

The detailed rules will further be approved by the Punjab Cabinet.

The Local Government Department has sent the election rules to the Punjab Cabinet and has also issued a notification for the rules for delimitation of local government bodies.
