ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture, Huzaifa Rehman, on Tuesday urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to adopt dialogue as the preferred means of resolving political matters.

Speaking to a television channel, he said PTI should focus on issues of public interest rather than pursuing personal agendas. He emphasized that the party could engage in discussions on key national matters, including electoral reforms, a charter of democracy, and economic issues.

He said political stability was closely linked to economic stability and stressed the need for constructive engagement among political stakeholders.

He advised PTI leaders to set aside what he described as a stubborn attitude and come forward for talks to help resolve political challenges through democratic means.

Commenting on the Federal budget, he noted that the National Assembly had approved the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. He added that the government successfully secured the support of its coalition partners during the budget's passage.

He reiterated that cooperation among political parties was essential for strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring economic progress in the country.
