Provincial Ombudsman Holds Open Court in Sukkur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh,Sukkur region, held an open court at the District Accounts Office Sukkur on Friday aiming to resolve public issues promptly.

The open court was presided over by Regional Director Ahmad Ali Qureshi, and was attended by officials from various departments, pensioners, and citizens, who presented their problems.

Complaints related to pensions, arrears, non availability of service books, and other financial matters were received. He reviewed the complaints and issued orders to resolve the issues on the spot.

He directed the officials to resolve public grievances without delay and warned against any negligence or delay tactics.

Some pensioners' cases were resolved immediately, while others were directed to submit reports within a specified period.

Qureshi emphasized that resolving pensioners' problems is a priority and assured that retired employees will not be unnecessarily harassed. The open court aims to provide justice to the people and improve the performance of government institutions.
