QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday said that the protection of the basic rights, powers and fundamental freedoms of the people is a priority in politics and various ministries.

He expressed these views while talking to Prince Umar Ahmadzai, central leader and parliamentary secretary of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), at the Governor's House, Quetta.

Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri was also present during the meeting.

The Governor said that in view of the tense situation in the entire region and in terms of leading the country and the province towards political and economic stability, elected public representatives and political leaders have great responsibilities to take serious and courageous decisions in these complex situations.

He said that I have learned from my political leaders that politics is not confrontation but a meaningful dialogue and public friendship in the ups and downs of life in which there is no room for turning personal grudges or opposition into personal enmity.

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that I have followed a simple principle throughout my political life, which is to share love between different nations and tribes, advance the cause of the deprived people, unite the people and bring light where there is darkness.

The Governor said that as far as possible, the protection of the basic rights, powers and fundamental freedoms of the people is a priority in politics and various ministries. Some development projects have been completed in the education and health sectors.

He said that the people's friendship with political leaders paves new paths for social justice, economic equality and religious tolerance.

Alhamdulillah, my politics, work and relationships are proof of my positive and constructive character, he said.
